Aloesha Natural Health Products, a company engaged in large-scale research and cultivation of organic herbal medicines, celebrates 10 years of excellent, effective and innovative health solutions.
The celebrations are part of the campaign called “10 years of natural healing”.
Launching a series of activities to mark the 10th anniversary, the company’s managing director, Don Patrick Bugingo, said that today the world sees herbal medicine and other organic products very differently, with a more positive attitude and an open mind ready to learn and appreciate the value of nature.
“We tell this ten-year story with pride as it was a journey of great lessons, growth and progress that was made amidst many challenges and obstacles. These obstacles were very necessary for our growth because, as they say “Ease is most of the time a greater obstacle to progress than difficulty itself”said Bugingo.
Some of the activities to hold include; a health camp at Sure House, Bombo Road on February 3, 2022, a health camp at our Masaka branch on February 7, 2022, an official opening of the Aloesha Organic Ecotourism Center and a graduation ceremony at the training institute Organic Aloesha on February 12, 2022.
Other activities include; filming a documentary to share the thoughts of Aloesha’s partners, customers and friends on what the 10th anniversary, a CSR campaign means to them at Mpererwe market on February 16.
Bugingo added that during the events, they celebrate their loyal customer base from around the world by connecting in several ways with the dedicated and committed staff of Aloesha Organic.
“We celebrate the growth and diversity of our product line consisting of; Herbal medicines, immune boosters, cosmetics, soft drinks, essential oils and spices with other new innovations currently in the works. Our ecotourism center which is to be officially opened. The Aloesha Biological Training Institute and its great capacity and potential,” Bugingo said.
At the launch, education expert Fagil Mande praised Aloesha Organic for establishing a strong institution that has trained and equipped a number of Ugandans with skills in herbal medicine.
“I applaud the leadership of Aloesha Organic for the milestone recorded in marking 10 years. I am delighted to work with the team as I provide advisory and mentorship support, which aims to impart the appropriate knowledge and skills to students who take classes at the Aloesha Organic Training Institute,” Mande said.
Hajji Jamir Mukwaya, President of the Uganda Herbalist Association, thanked President Museveni for signing and endorsing the law which governs all herbal medicines and complementary use and production in Uganda.
“We are delighted and honored that Ugandan President HE Yoweri Museveni has signed and approved the law which governs all herbal medicines and complementary use and production, this will serve as a guideline in carrying out our duties. And I congratulate Aloesha on this great achievement, as an association we will continuously give our support,” Mukwaya said.
